Position: Prospect Management Coordinator

Scope: Responsible for tracking and managing various stages of prospect relationships through the activities of Senior Development Officers.
I. Basic Responsibilities
- Work with Senior Development Officers and others to maintain and update plans for each prospect and to facilitate the efforts of those officers in developing new prospect relationships
- Manage the flow and reporting of prospect data
- Provide fundraising and communication support
II. Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.
A. Work with Senior Development Officers to create, maintain and update plans for each prospect, and to facilitate the efforts of those officers in developing new prospect relationships
- Ensuring that dynamic ratings (capacity, inclination, readiness) as well as project connection, solicitation strategy, and gift status are kept current. The coordinator would make sure officer assignments and changes are tracked and maintained according to the Development Director's instructions
- Managing the flow of newly identified, qualified leadership and major gift prospects to the larger prospect pool
- Visiting one-on-one with gift solicitors on a regular basis for tracking prospect development and following up on action items
B. Manage the flow and reporting of prospect data
- Ensure contact and visit information from each Senior Development officer is entered in Banner in an accurate, timely way=
- Provide reports to Senior Development Officers and administrators on an ongoing basis
- Manage and appropriately disseminate information on prospective donors
C. Provide fundraising and communication support to Senior Development Officers
- Conduct regular individual meetings with all Development officers
- Review reports regularly and disseminate to officers
- Help gift officers manage their portfolios to make room for new prospects for cultivation

- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with leadership-level team members
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

IV. Qualifications:
ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. This position requires the employee to be a professing Christian and to be willing to support the Christian mission of ACU.
A. Professional
- Bachelor's degree required
- Three or more years experience in higher education fundraising preferred
B. Personal
- Previous experience in prospect research and/or moves management highly desired
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet required deadlines
- Sensitivity to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information
V. Physical Demands
- Sitting at computer for extended periods of time
- Typing for long periods of time
